There are many areas of Conclave that are not defined in terms of simple geography. From the nature of magic to the heavenly bodies, these places may exert an influence on the mortal realms and even be visited by exceptional heroes.

The Underwater Darkness World
Look at your reflection in a pool of water, and you are looking into the Underwater Darkness World. It is a reflection of the mortal realm that exists on its underside. Sometimes it seems closer than others, especially when viewed through reflective surfaces, but it can only be accessed by those from the mortal realm by travelling deep into the earth or into the lightless abyss of the sea.

The Underwater Darkness Realm is said to be a mirror image of the surface world, where everything is reversed. People walk on their hands, animals ride humans, the language is backwards, kings toil in the fields. Anything contrary or contradictory seems to exist in the Underwater Darkness Realm.

The Spirit Realm
This invisible realm exists all around the mortal realm. The nature of spirits is as variable as that of mortals. There are ancestors and ghosts, there are servants of the gods who keep the world running, there are scary monsters (from the portion of the spirit realm that touches upon the Underwater Darkness Realm). Quite often, the people of Conclave consider anything strange or unusual to be from the spirit realm, even if it is mortal. There are creatures that are half-mortal, half-spirit that have particular powers, such as shapeshifters.

The Nature of Magic
Magic is a force that permeates all of Conclave. Some believe that it is the raw stuff of Chaos, others that it stems from, but is not inherently, Chaos. Whatever the truth may be, magic in its "raw" form exists as a continuum between the free-flowing and unpredictable stuff of the outer areas of Conclave, to the rigid, crystallised and hard to access stuff of the Inner Lands. There are almost as many ways of using magic as there are cultures of Conclave.

The Wanderers
The Wanderers, as Teshnuvar coined them, are heavenly bodies that circle in the skies above Conclave but are not attached to the "outer" sky known as the Firmament. There are four visible to the naked eye - Jade, Gold, Silver and Bronze - and they have different reputations and interpreted meanings in different cultures. The Wanderers may well be small worlds in themselves, and such home to mysterious races that may be inimical to the surface dwellers of Conclave. They are within the breathable atmosphere and so theoretically travel to and from the Wanderers should be possible. There may also be Wanderers in the sky of the Underwater Darkness World.

The Realm of the Gods
So what of the immortals, and the afterlife? Where do these fit in? Simply put, no-one knows. Maybe a step removed from the Spirit Realm, so the Immortal Realm is contiguous with the Mortal but not directly accessible. Some beings that are worshipped as gods are little more than powerful spirit creatures or magicians and so not "true" gods. There are vast and impersonal forces like Time, Truth, Fate and the Creator that many cultures revere as higher than the gods. Do such things exist? To say for sure one way or another would spoil the mystique of such things.
